Shilpa Shah is a strategist, artist, humanitarian, and mother who has translated her love for art and technology into a successful career as a user-interface designer. She is a born collaborator who loves stepping up to the blank whiteboard, dry erase marker in hand, ready to incite collective brilliance. When she is not cracking jokes with her team or building creative visions, you can find her with a camera, snowboard, scuba mask, or baby bottle in hand, pushing the limits of her twenty-four hour day. Her primary objective is and always has been to create innovative and interactive human experiences. Her energy is infectious, patient when necessary, persuasive when required, and always sincere, just like her big, welcoming smile.

Shilpa Shah is currently an Associate Director of Interaction Design at Punchcut, a leading mobile user experience and development company. Prior to joining Punchcut, Shilpa worked as the Director of Interaction Design at the Coalition of Essential Schools, as the Manager of Information Architecture for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online, and as a Senior Information Architect at Scient.

She loves photography, film, snowboarding, scuba diving, and traveling. She currently is an active member of the IxDA (Interaction Design Association), National Marrow Donor Program, and Health Volunteers Overseas. Her past efforts include building houses for tsunami victims in Galle, Sri Lanka, volunteering with the African Medical Mission in South Africa, and serving as a three-year steering committee member for Artwallah, a one-of-a-kind annual South Asian diasporic arts festival in Los Angeles.
